Final tickets: Information

The 50,000-plus capacity home of Bilbao's Athletic Club was built on the site of the old San Mamés, replacing the 100-year-old arena of the same name. Athletic Club women's team have played several games in the new stadium, attracting 48,121 fans for a 2019 cup tie against Atlético de Madrid, at the time a Spanish record.

San Mamés previously staged two quarter-finals (won by Barcelona and Lyon) and a semi-final (won by Lyon) when the 2019/20 Women's Champions League concluded with an eight-team knockout tournament played behind closed doors. The other matches, including the final, were played in San Sebastián, the second time the competition had concluded in Spain after the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez in Getafe held the first decider of the rebranded Women's Champions League in 2010.

That was when the final reverted to a one-off fixture for the first time since the inaugural 2001/02 season of the UEFA Women's Cup. In 2019, the showpiece was moved to a different city to the men's UEFA Champions League decider for the first time, being played at Ferencváros Stadion in Budapest.

San Sebastián's Anoeta Stadium hosted the 2020 final, while the 2021 decider was held at Gamla Ullevi in Gothenburg. Turin's Juventus Stadium staged the 2022 showpiece, before the 2023 final was played at PSV Stadium in Eindhoven.
