The UEFA Women's Europa Cup last 16 line-up is complete after the second qualifying round set the teams advancing to the knockout draw at 13:00 CET on Friday.
In Thursday's games, Hammarby drew 1-1 at Brann to edge their fellow recent UEFA Women's Champions League group stage contenders 5-2 on aggregate, and Häcken ensured there will be two Swedish sides in the last 16 as they eliminated Katowice. A pair of Dutch clubs also progressed as PSV Eindhoven defeated Minsk 2-0 in a one-off tie and Ajax, having drawn 0-0 away to GC Frauenfussball, won 2-1 at home.
The other Swiss entrants, Young Boys, won 1-0 at SFK 2000 Sarajevo to go through 3-0 overall. As for Sparta Praha – former Women's Champions League quarter-finalists like Ajax and Häcken – they won 5-0 at Ferencváros to advance.
On Wednesday, another side to have made the Champions League last eight, Glasgow City, were trailing HB Køge on aggregate in the 90th minute but then scored twice to triumph 5-3 on the night and 6-5 overall. Four-time European champions Eintracht Frankfurt, meanwhile, enjoyed a comfortable evening in Czechia, defeating Slovácko 1-0 and 5-0 on aggregate.
The 2002/03 UEFA Women's Cup runners-up Fortuna Hjørring edged out Vorskla Poltava, while former quarter-finalists Breidablik eliminated Spartak Subotica. Inter, in their debut European campaign, cruised through by beating Vllaznia 5-0 in Albania to seal a 12-0 triumph on aggregate.
Sporting CP also dominated their first leg, downing Rosengård 3-0, but they were made to work hard in the return, ultimately progressing after a 2-2 draw. Elsewhere, Slavia Praha levelled the aggregate scoreline with three minutes to go at Austria Wien, only to succumb on penalties.
Nordsjælland are through with Danish compatriots Fortuna as they overturned an opening-leg deficit to move past Gintra, while Anderlecht prevailed 3-2 at Braga after coming from behind in extra time, notching a last-gasp winner to advance 4-3 overall. Mura were the first team to qualify on Sunday, winning 3-2 on aggregate against Dinamo-BSUPC despite a 2-1 loss on the day.
