Bilić sets out agenda for UEFA EURO 2012

Still only 43, Slaven Bilić will be the second youngest coach at UEFA EURO 2012 – with just Portugal's Paulo Bento his junior – yet few can rival his international experience. In five and a half years since he stepped up from the Under-21s to take the reins of Croatia's senior side, he has overseen 60 matches, losing only six.

With a victory rate of two wins every three games helping Croatia reach two UEFA European Championships on his watch, the coach tells UEFA.com his hopes for this summer's finals in Poland and Ukraine and what it would mean to revisit the heights of 1998 – when a Croatia team featuring Bilić himself finished third at the FIFA World Cup. A similar achievement could, says former team-mate Davor Šuker, secure a fitting legacy.
